Taco Pasta Bake

A recipe from Wynnebaer Taco Pasta Bake

I have always loved casseroles, true comfort food in my book:) We loved this..and I'll be making it often! My husband isn't a big casserole fan, but said after his first bite he said "Ummm, now this is tasty":) So there you have it, a very good, cheesy & flavorful comfort meal:) I did add 1 can of diced tomatoes with green chiles (as opposed to 1/2 can, I just wouldn't know what to do with the other 1/2) & added 1/2 diced onion while cooking the ground turkey, as Wynnebaer stated she did..the tomatoes & chiles added a little heat, which was very nice! Also used jack cheese...A big thank you to Corinne for yet another delicious recipe:)

That does look so cheesy and comforting!! I bet any ground meat would be good in this, I'm thinking my family would like sausage :)

Used 2lbs ground beef and some home made taco seasoning. Drained the hamburger. Had to add a little salt at the end but if you use store bought taco seasoning the extra salt may not be necessary.
Added a cup of Creme Fraiche just because.

Tomatoes sound like a good addition to this.
