Mixed Pepper Jelly Recipe

How to make it

  • Combine diced peppers, sugar, and vinegar. Boil for 7 minutes.
  • Add 3 oz of pectin. Boil another 3 minutes, stirring frequently.
  • Skim off any foam.
  • Can in a boiling water bath for at least 5 minutes. Set aside to cool.
  • It should start to gel after 10 or 15 minutes.

    I agree that seeding peppers is a pain. I best get in gear and save my peppers before they rot. You put me to shame.
