Ingredients

How to make it

  • Snap off woody ends of asparagus. Wash them and cut into 1 1/2 inch lengths.
  • Place asparagus in microwave proof dish and add 2 tbs of water.
  • Cook for four minutes.
  • Heat oils in frying pan an add asparagus, med. heat.
  • Cook for one minute, tossing to coat the asparagus.
  • Add seeds and cook for one more minute.
  • Note. Use 1/2 tsp sesame oil only.

    I was a little heavy handed with the amount of pumpkin seeds I added to my asparagus. :) This was a lovely recipe. More in IMI 11.

    Bren, I forgot all about this until I did a search on 'asparagus' and found it again. AND.....even better than that, is the fact that I have a ton of pumpkins around the house that I'm using for decorations and that means easy access to pumpkin seeds! Yay! This is going to happen this week. :)

    I love Asparagus and this is a great way of eating it.The taste tickles your taste buds in a delicious way, i only had olive oil, and i made a little over a pound, i think i ate most of it. i would recommend that you try this recipe, it will not disappoint. Will be making this again,Thank you for the recipe.
