Healthier Shake And Bake

- 1 cup flour shopping list
- 1 cup cornmeal shopping list
- 4 tsp ground cumin shopping list
- 2 tsp onion powder shopping list
- 2 tsp garlic powder shopping list
- 2 tsp dried oregano, crushed shopping list
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper shopping list
- 1 tsp salt 1 tsp pepper shopping list
- Chicken shopping list
How to make it
- In a heavy, plastic zip lock bag, combine the above. Shake bag to mix ingredients.
- Makes two+ cups or enough to season four 3 ½ pounds of chicken.
- To use:
- Remove ½ cup and place in a bag. Cut the chicken into serving pieces and place into bag, a few at a time, and shake to cover.
- Arrange in a lightly oiled pan and bake in a preheated oven 375F for 40 minutes. Turning the chicken once during baking.
