The Ultimate Bread Pudding You've Ever Eaten

- 1 loaf of Good quality bread, I use Natures Own butter bread shopping list
- 6 eggs, beaten shopping list
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream shopping list
- 2 cups half and half shopping list
- 1 can evaporated milk regular size shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 6 bananas, mashed shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar shopping list
- 1/2 stick butter, melted shopping list
- 1 cup banana cake mix shopping list
- 1 cup white chocolate chips shopping list
- 1 /2 each of the cinnamon coffee cake mix( both packs inside the box) use a good quality mix like Krusteaz brand shopping list
- Sauce: shopping list
- 1 stick butter shopping list
- 1 cup brown sugar ( dark is best) shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 1/2 can condensed milk or caramel condensed milk shopping list
- 1/3- 1/2 cup good quality bourbon shopping list
- 1/4 cup half and half shopping list
- maple pecan praline drizzle for an extra special touch: I use this when I serve it with whipped cream. shopping list
- 1:2 stick butter shopping list
- 1cup dark brown sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup half and half shopping list
- 1/2 cup pecans shopping list
- tablespoon maple flavoring shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Butter large baking dish
- Cut bread into bite size pieces and place in pan.
- In large bowl, mash banana as and mix in sugars, milks, eggs and vanilla. Whisk in the 1 cup banana cake mix , cinnamon, 1/2 coffee cake mix, 1/2 the Cinnamon sugar packet and melted butter.
- Pour over bread and make sure bread is well soaked( add more milk if needed) too with white chocolate and sprinkle a little more of the cake mix on top.
- Bake until firm or about an hour( or until knife inserted comes out clean)
- Sauce:
- Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir in sugars and stir while cooking a minute or two.
- Stir in commenced milk , half and half and cook a few minutes.
- Stir in bourbon and remove from heat.
- Keep warm serve with bread pudding

- In a small saucepan melt 1:2 stick butter. Over med heat, stir in 1 cup dark brown sugar and 1/2 cup sugar into the melted butter. Whisk in 1/2 cup half and half and cook while stirring over Ned high heat until very bubbly or candy thermometer reaches soft ball stage. Stir in 1/2 cup pecans and tablespoon maple flavoring. Remove from heat and drop spoonfuls onto buttered wax paper, allow to harden. Crumble over bread pudding.
- If desired, slice a bananas to serve as a garnish
