How to make it

  • Mix ingredients in order listed in a medium size bowl. Roll half of dough at a time a 1/8 " thick and cut into rectangles about 1 1/2" long, dipping knife in boiling chicken broth between cuts to keep the dough from sticking to the knife. Drop dumplings a few at a time into the boiling broth. Turn pot down to simmer and cook 40 minutes.
