- 1 stick butter, room temperature shopping list
- 1 jar Old English cheese spread, room temperature shopping list
- 1-1/2 teaspoons mayonnaise shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt shopping list
- seasoned salt to taste shopping list
- 1/2 pound fresh crabmeat, shells removed shopping list
- 6 English muffins (I stick with Thomas') shopping list
- Fresh chives, chopped, for garnish shopping list
How to make it
- In a bowl, mix buter, cheese spread, mayonnaise, garlic salt, and seasoned salt.
- Add crabmeat and mix until blended.
- Split the english muffins.
- Spread crab mixture evenly on the english muffins.
- Put in the freezer and freeze for 10 minutes.
- If you are using them as appetizers, cut into fourths. If eating as snack leave the halves as they are.
- Broil until bubbly crisp.
- These can also be frozen.

I make these on the little cocktail rye bread slices - it's still one of my all-time favorite appetizers...great flavor and easy to put together. Thanks for reminding me of them, jaie!
