Ingredients
- 1½ cups butter or margarine
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon almond extract
- 4 cups sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Directions
- Thoroughly cream butter and sugar. Add egg, vanilla extract and almond extract. Beat well.
- Sift flour with baking powder. Add to creamed mixture; mix til smooth. Do not chill. Force dough through cookie press, forming various shapes, on ungreased cookie sheet. bake in hot oven at 400° F for about 8 to 10 minutes. Cool. Decorate. Makes about 6 dozen.
