Ripe Tomato Jam Recipe
This is so good. I make it all summer long when tomatoes are in season and very tasty. I like to serve this on bruschetta but have also been known to serve it over grilled chicken or fish. Enjoy

Ingredients
  • 4 pounds medium ripe tomatoes
  • 4 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon whole cloves
  • 1/2 tablespoons broken stick cinnamon
  • 2 cups vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon whole allspice

Directions
  1. Scald, peel and quarter tomatoes then place in preserving kettle.
  2. Add sugar, vinegar, cloves, allspice and cinnamon.
  3. Simmer stirring frequently until thick.
