Carrot Cake WannaBe Bars

This dish is a simple version of carrot cake you can eat without a dish. Always disapears at the school functions-made there without the nuts of course.
Ingredients
- 2c sugar shopping list
- 2c flour shopping list
- 1c nuts chopped(optional-we like pecans or walnuts) shopping list
- 4 lg eggs shopping list
- 1 1/4c canola oil shopping list
- 3c grated carrots shopping list
- 4tsp cinnamon shopping list
- 1/2tsp salt shopping list
- 3 tsp baking powder shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Mix all dry ingredients (and nuts if using) in a bowl.
- Put all others into a medium bowl and beat until combined.
- Slowly add dry mixture, beating with mixer until just combined.
- Don't overbeat.
- Pour into greased and floured jelly roll pan 12 x 15.
- Bake for 20-30min until toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool
- Now frost with my Speedy Quick Cream Cheese Frosting
- Enjoy!
