Joe Schmo Cucumber Sandwiches

I always thought of cucumber sandwiches as “fussy food” until my co-worker Marliss introduced me to her version., which she told me were “great with beer, martinis or bloody marys.” May be too simple for some tastes, but I like ‘em!
Ingredients
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened shopping list
- 1 loaf rye or pumpernickel cocktail bread shopping list
- celery salt shopping list
- 1 or 2 cucumbers, peeled, sliced thin and patted dry shopping list
How to make it
- Spread cream cheese on bread slices.
- Sprinkle cheese with celery salt
- Place 1 slice of cucumber on top of each slice.
- Eat

Me too. They are simple, good and remind me of the Danish open face. The better the bread the better the sandwich. *I might sneak a little onion juice in my cream cheese for a cheat* That's if I feel like being fancy.
