Super Bowl Dip Recipe

Ingredients

*Pre-heat crockpot

2 lbs. roll sausage

2 cans Ro-tel or one large jar salsa, use hot!!BETTER

1 large Velvetta cheese, cut into cubes

Directions

In skillet, brown sausage & drain grease. Dump cheese into crockpot with the cans of Ro-tel and add sausage. Stir until blended, after cheese has melted, stir again and set crockpot on low.

Serve with tortilla chips or bagel rounds. Stays hot in crockpot.

VARIATION: use 2 lbs. ground beef and Taco Seasoning Mix (your own or store bought.) Brown ground beef and add taco seasoning. Add into crockpot with Ro-tel and Velvetta.

I will say I have never added the taco seasoning to the beef. Will try this year.
