Super Bowl Dip

This is a quick and easy dip to make in the crockpot and then enjoy the game. Not sure where I originally found it, but we've enjoyed it time and again. Photo courtesy of Photobucket.com
Ingredients
- *Pre-heat crockpot shopping list
- 2 lbs. roll sausage shopping list
- 2 cans Ro-tel or one large jar salsa, use hot!!BETTER shopping list
- 1 large Velvetta cheese, cut into cubes shopping list
How to make it
- In skillet, brown sausage & drain grease. Dump cheese into crockpot with the cans of Ro-tel and add sausage. Stir until blended, after cheese has melted, stir again and set crockpot on low.
- Serve with tortilla chips or bagel rounds. Stays hot in crockpot.
- VARIATION: use 2 lbs. ground beef and Taco Seasoning Mix (your own or store bought.) Brown ground beef and add taco seasoning. Add into crockpot with Ro-tel and Velvetta.
