This one is from my sister. It goes well with whip cream on the side or a scoop of vanilla ice cream!

Ingredients
  • CRUST
  • 1 1/2 sticks of butter/margarine
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup oats
  • 2 cup flour
  • 3-4 apple, peeled and thinly sliced
  • FILLING
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions
  1. mix together the crust ingredients
  2. press half of the batter on the bottom of a greased baking pan (9x13)
  3. peel and slice the apples, and place on top of the crust
  4. boil on low the filling ingredients, mixing constantly until slightly thickened
  5. pour on top of apples
  6. crumble the rest of the crust batter over the filling
  7. bake at 350 for 45 min
  8. Eat and ENJOY
