Kid Approved Tater Tot Casserole Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 lb ground beef

2 cans mixed vegtables, drained

1 can cream of chicken soup

1 bag tater tots

american cheese slices

salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Preheat oven to 375.

Spray 13x9 baking pan with PAM

Cook and drain beef.

Mix all ingredients EXCEPT cheese and tater tots in casserole dish and spread out evenly.

Place a single layer of american cheese on top of mixture

Layer tots on top of cheese

Bake at 375 for 45 mins or until tater tots are golden brown and crispy.

* you may sub- ground turkey for beef

cream of celery or mushroom instead of chicken

any cheese but works best with sliced not shredded

I have also added 2TBSP of sugar to mixture. This is also very good.

Not sure if Im supposed to leave myself comments or not but in all honesty, my kids are the PICKIEST eaters. They LOVE this recipe. I have to make it once a month. It's great because there are veggies, meat, and dairy all in there along with a little starch.
