How to make it

  • Mix dressing, seasoning and pepper in a ZiplocĀ® bag.
  • Leave the ingredietns into the bag to marry for 30 minutes, but not longer than an hour.
  • Add zucchini and mix until coatd with marinade.
  • Discard marinade.
  • Coat zucchini slices with cheese until all sides are throughly coated. I have found it easiest to put the cheese on a plate and dredge the zucchini.
  • Place zucchini on a sprayed grill, or use tin foil for easy clean-up, and grill on medium heat for 5 minutes, turning several times until cheese is light brown and zucchini is crisp but still tender.
  • Serve with warm marinara sauce for dipping.

    What a great healthier football snacker. And perfect timing too since we just started doing the healthy thing & football's here again. I bet these are even good at room temp -Wonderful post!
