Prickly Pear Margarita Recipe

How to make it

  • Blend prickly pear with tequila, triple sec and ice cubes.
  • To serve, rub a lime wedge around rim of each Margarita glass; dip rims into coarse salt. Pour into glass and serve immediately.

    its actually a purple juice but has a very sweet and a little dryness to it

    Hmmmmmmmmmm so it's nothing like a regular pear, would love to try this, I'll have to check Kroger's and Publix's here to see if they carry it.

    Prickly Pear is a cactus fruit and is found in the arizona region I was lucky enough to enjoy this while at my sister in laws resturant in Prescott, AZ and have found it in the local grocery store in the frozen juice section
