Ingredients

1 1/2 C Creamy Peanut butter

1/2 C Butter - room temperature

1 tsp Vanilla

16 oz Confectioners sugar

12 oz bag of semi sweet chocolate chips

3 Tbls Crisco

Directions

Day 1 - Mix peanut butter, butter, vanilla and sugar with electric mixer till smooth. Roll tbls size amounts into balls, place on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper - refrigerate overnight.

Day 2 - Melt chocolate chips and Crisco together and mix till smooth. Stick a toothpick in each peanut butter ball and dip in the chocolate, leaving a semi circle of peanut butter showing at the top. Replace on wax paper and refrigerate for several hours until chocolate firms up a bit.

I love these! I always loved when someone brought them to a gathering, I've never tried to make them. I just might have to since I have seen the recipe, they are usually only a treat at holiday time.
