Spanish Deviled Eggs For Two

- First, make deviled eggs, this recipe will need 3 deviled eggs, cut in half. use your favorite recipe. Refill whites. Then: shopping list
- Heat oven to 425. shopping list
- 2 T chopped onion shopping list
- 1 T chopped green pepper shopping list
- 1 T butter shopping list
- 1 1/2 T all purpose flour shopping list
- 1 8 ounce can (one cup) tomatoes shopping list
- 1/2 t sugar shopping list
- 1/4 cup fine dry bread crumbs shopping list
- 1 t butter, melted shopping list
How to make it
- Make sure you have made your deviled eggs, refilled the whites and placed 6 halves into a medium casserole dish. Or place three halves into two separate small casserole dishes if you want to be fancy for two people.
- Cook onion and green pepper in one tablespoon butter until tender, then blend in 1 1/2 T flour. Add tomatoes, sugar, dash salt, and dash of pepper. Cook and stir until bubbly. Pour mixture around deviled eggs.
- Next, combine bread crumbs and melted butter. Sprinkle this over deviled eggs. Bake at 425 for 10 minutes.
