How to make it

  • Beat egg whites, add cream of tartar and salt when foamy.
  • Beat in 1 1/2 c sugar, 1 Tb at a time.
  • Beat until stiff peaks. Do not overbeat!
  • Spreatd in buttered 9x13 pan and put in 400 degree preheated overn.
  • Turn off oven immediately and leave meringue overnight.
  • Cream the cream cheese with 3/4 c sugar and vanilla until soft.
  • Whip whipping cream in separate bowl. Add marshmellows.
  • Gently fold in cream cheese mixture.
  • Pour over baked meringue and regrigerate for 8 hours.
  • Top with pie filling.
