Cherry Berry in the Snow

- 6 egg whites shopping list
- 1/2 tsp cream of tartar shopping list
- 1/4 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 1/2 c sugar shopping list
- 2 c whipping cream shopping list
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened shopping list
- 3/4 c sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 3 c mini marshmellows shopping list
- 2 cans cherry pie filling (have made with strawberry too - very good!) shopping list
How to make it
- Beat egg whites, add cream of tartar and salt when foamy.
- Beat in 1 1/2 c sugar, 1 Tb at a time.
- Beat until stiff peaks. Do not overbeat!
- Spreatd in buttered 9x13 pan and put in 400 degree preheated overn.
- Turn off oven immediately and leave meringue overnight.
- Cream the cream cheese with 3/4 c sugar and vanilla until soft.
- Whip whipping cream in separate bowl. Add marshmellows.
- Gently fold in cream cheese mixture.
- Pour over baked meringue and regrigerate for 8 hours.
- Top with pie filling.
