Jalapeno Pepper Poppers Recipe
Jalapeno peppers filled with cream cheese, dried tomatoes, and wrapped in bacon explode with great taste! Easy to prepare!

Ingredients
  • 15 fresh jalapenos
  • 1 8 ounce package cream cheese
  • Bits of dried tomato
  • 15 slices lean bacon, cut in half

Directions
  1. Cut jalapenos in half lengthwise, leaving stems intact. Remove seeds and veins*
  2. Fill pepper halves with cream cheese.
  3. Dot with dried tomatoes
  4. Wrap bacon piece around each, overlapping on top
  5. Secure bacon with toothpick
  6. Place on sprayed foil-lined baking sheets
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until bacon is crisp
  8. *NOTE: While preparing, keep hands away from face and eyes, wash hands thoroughly OR wear disposible gloves while preparing

Wow! These sound fabulous! I'm always looking for good appetizer recipes because I'm the designated "appetizer lady" for all family functions. This one just might be in the holiday menu!

This sounds like the next way i am going to make this.i usually add hot sasauge parmasan cheese and onion to the cream cheese.this sounds like a really good way to change things up a bit i might even try it all mixed my way and yours just for fun. but i think to offer two diffrent ways would be the best.thanks.maywest
