Rooster Cake Tuppkaka Recipe
Really easy to make, no need to whisk or anything - just stir, pour into mould and bake!

Ingredients
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 dl (1 1/4 cup) sugar
  • 2 1/2 dl (1 cup) flour
  • 75 g melted butter
  • Banana, apple or other fruit (optional)

Directions
  1. Turn the oven to 200-225 C (400-425 F, gas mark 6-7)
  2. Stir the eggs and sugar until they are mixed
  3. Stir inthe flour and melted butter
  4. Grease a baking tin and pour in the mix
  5. Slice bananas or apples over the mix if you like
  6. Bake for about 25-30 minutes, but keep an eye on the cake the last 10 minutes, as it can get too dark.

My Scandinavian mother will love this one (as will the rest of us!)...thank you for sharing your interesting recipe. I hope you have more Scandinavian recipes to share - I always love finding something my grandma or great-grandma made me when I was a child!!
