Ingredients

How to make it

  • Melt butter in microwave in medium size bowl
  • Mix flour and powdered sugar in a bowl, whisk to blend
  • Add to melted butter, mix well
  • Press into pie plate
  • Bake in a 325 degree oven until light brown, watching closely
  • Fill with favorite pie filling
  • NOTE: It browns quickly. Light brown is best. ENJOY!

    Hi! Can we use this crust recipe for pies that require to be baked along with the filling? Please let me know as I'm dying to try it. If I don't have to take that rolling pin out, I'll be a very happy camper when it comes to making pies. This would be great for a camping meal, too! Thank you so much for posting it!!!

    I had a friend with 8 children and when she was in a hurry, this is the pie crust she made, she made 5 or 6 pies every two or three days... Bless her heart.. she and the kids loved pies... I gotta try it.
