Great carrot recipe. We love it and hope you do too.

Ingredients
  • 5 medium carrots
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon corn starch
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine

Directions
  1. Cut carrots into julienne strips.
  2. Cover and cook in boiling salted water until just tender.
  3. Combine next four ingredients in small sauce pan.
  4. Add orange juice then cook stirring constantly until mixture thickens.
  5. Boil 1 minute then stir in butter.
  6. Pour over hot carrots to coat evenly.
