Paprikas Potatoes Recipe
Good Potato Side dish, goes well with Smoked Kolbassa. We also added green beans to the meal, or some sweet n sour red cabbage... A family favorite.

Ingredients
  • 5 Large Potatoes, peeled and sliced thick.
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 green pepper, diced
  • 2 med. onions, diced
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • about 2 tsps of Hungarian Sweet Paprika( i use a little more, my preference)
  • about 4-5 strips cold bacon, diced...
  • 21/2 cups of water...

Directions
  1. In a large pot, add the diced bacon,cook about 5 min, drain some of the grease but leave bacon in pot.
  2. Add onions, green pepper, and garlic.
  3. Sautee until golen brown. Remove the pot from burner and add paprika,stir ingred. Mix well.
  4. Now add the potatoes, water and salt, cook on low for about 35 until potaotes are tender and most of the liqued is absorbed...
