Oreo Cookie Freeze

This is a cold, rich dessert that is a huge hit with kids and grownups alike! I never have any leftovers when I make this!
Ingredients
- 1 bag Oreo cookies shopping list
- 1 1/2 c Oreo cookie crumbs shopping list
- 1/4 c melted butter shopping list
- 2 L vanilla icecream (use the good stuff if you can), softened shopping list
- 1 tub (large size) Cool Whip whipped topping, thawed shopping list
How to make it
- Combine cookie crumbs with melted butter and pat into ungreased 9x13 baking pan. Set in the freezer to harden.
- Place two rows of Oreo cookies in a doubled up large Ziploc bag and crush using rolling pin.
- In a large bowl combine the ice cream and the Cool whip, stir to fully combine.
- Add crushed Oreos to the ice cream mix then pour over crust.
- Take remaining Oreos and cut in half then place halves on top decoratively.
- Cover tightly with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 4 hours.
- Remove from freezer about 15 minutes before planning to serve.
- Simple but delicious!
