Ingredients
  • 1 bag Oreo cookies
  • 1 1/2 c Oreo cookie crumbs
  • 1/4 c melted butter
  • 2 L vanilla icecream (use the good stuff if you can), softened
  • 1 tub (large size) Cool Whip whipped topping, thawed

Directions
  1. Combine cookie crumbs with melted butter and pat into ungreased 9x13 baking pan. Set in the freezer to harden.
  2. Place two rows of Oreo cookies in a doubled up large Ziploc bag and crush using rolling pin.
  3. In a large bowl combine the ice cream and the Cool whip, stir to fully combine.
  4. Add crushed Oreos to the ice cream mix then pour over crust.
  5. Take remaining Oreos and cut in half then place halves on top decoratively.
  6. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 4 hours.
  7. Remove from freezer about 15 minutes before planning to serve.
  8. Simple but delicious!
