HAWAIIAN COLE SLAW

I came up with this when I wanted cole slaw. It is a refreshing change. You can add any type of fruit that you wish.
Ingredients
- ¾ cup mayonnaise shopping list
- 2 tablespoons vinegar shopping list
- 2 tablespoons sugar shopping list
- 1 to 2 tablespoons milk shopping list
- 4 cups shredded cabbage, one bag already shredded shopping list
- 1 can (8 oz.) pineapple tidbits, drained or crushed drained shopping list
- 1 can (8 oz.) mandarin oranges, drained shopping list
- ½ cup to 1-cup coconut (optional) shopping list
- 1 medium purple onion (optional) shopping list
How to make it
- In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar and milk.
- Place cabbage and the remaining ingredients in a large bowl; add
- dressing and toss.

Love the tropical flavor of this coleslaw. Personally, I found the ratio of mayonnaise to coleslaw way too much. I find that with most coleslaw recipes so I won't fault the recipe. I did make changes in the amounts. For more details see "I M...more
