Awesome asparagus recipe. I serve this often when we have dinner parties and everyone loves it. I never have any left over (darn it). Enjoy

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds fresh asparagus
  • 1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Directions
  1. Cook asparagus for 15 minutes then drain and place in buttered ovenproof dish.
  2. Sprinkle with grated cheese then pour on butter and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Put under the broiler until the cheese is browned.
