Ingredients

How to make it

  • For each sandwich use 3 pieces of bread
  • Butter one slice first, then cover with a slice each of ham and chicken
  • Butter both sides of second piece of bread and place on top of meat
  • Cover with 3 slices of the swiss cheese
  • Butter third slice of bread and place on top
  • Secure with tooth picks and trim off crusts
  • Cut each sandwich in to 4 small triangles ( cut a X in them)
  • Mix egg, salt and milk together in a bowl
  • Dip sandwich pieces into egg mixture
  • Fry in butter or margarine in a skillet until golden brown on all sides, adding more butter as needed
  • Remove toothpicks and chow down!
  • * 3 triangles makes a nice serving
  • * makes 4 servings or 12 triangles

    Yumm... you need the raspberry jam and confectioner's sugar to really fatten these babies up! ROFL! Great recipe!

    I used to make these a lot, but hadn't had one for a while...started to make them again this past couple of weeks (darn the calories!!) Great to fill you up on a cold fall day....
