Candied Pecans Recipe
I love to do candied nuts for snack or salads. I thought I would share one of my favorite recipes. I got it off the internet a while ago, not sure where.

Ingredients
  • 1 cups sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 cups pecan halves - you can use walnuts or almonds as well

Directions
  1. Combine ingredients in a saucepan, stirring as the mixture heats. When sugar has dissolved, wipe away sugar crystals that form on the sides of the pan, then cook without stirring until it threads crisply when dropped from a spoon. Pour out onto wax paper and seperate the nuts a bit and let them cool.
