- round steak cut very thin shopping list
- Sliced bacon shopping list
- onion shopping list
- 1 lb. hamburger shopping list
- 1/2 C. cracker crumbs shopping list
- mustard (without horseradish) shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
How to make it
- Have the round steak cut very , very thin, just thick enough to hold together. Cut into 6 pieces about 5-6" round or square. Salt and pepper the steak. Spread w/mustard. Lay on this 2 slices of bacon and 2 slices of onion.
- Make meatballs of the hamburger, cracker crumbs, egg, 1 t. salt, 1/4 t. pepper and enough milk to make right consistency.
- Make into 6 balls, put one in each prepared steak. Wrap steak around meatball and tie w/kitchen string.
- Brown in oil until brown, then add water and let simmer about 3 hours or until very tender.
- When done make brown gravey with liquid in pan.
- I serve w/mashed potatoes. Yum.
