47 gazzilion calories! LOL! As someone who is watching calories I don't dare make this because I know I wouldn't leave it alone! It sounds really good. I will bookmark it though and will make it someday! My mouth is watering. :)

Mmmmmmm... this is the time of year I start making fudge!!! Thank you for this recipe ;-)

A FRIEND OF MY MOMS WORKED FOR SEE.S 50 YEARS AGO THIS IS AS CLOSE AS CAN BE MY MOM ALWAYS USED 24 OUNCES OF THE CHOCOLATE CHIPS, AND 2 CUBES OF MARGARINE, I USUSALLY PUT THE VANILLA,NUTS, MARSHMALLOW CREME ,CHOCOLATE CHIPS, AND MARGARINE IN A LARGE BOWL AND THEN COOK THE EVAPORATED MILK AND SUGAR AND POUR IT OVER THE THE MIX IN BOWL AND WHEN ITS ALL STIRRED UP I ADD SOME MINATURE MARSHMALLOW ON ONE OF THE BATCHS FOR ROCKY ROAD FUDGE, THEN WITH SAME RECIPE MINUS 1 CUBE OF MARGAINE AND THE CHOCOLATE CHIPS ADD PEANUT BUTTER CREAMY 15 OUNCES AND 1 PACKAGE OF REESE PEANUT BUTTER MORSELS, AND COOK THE SAME AND NOW YOU HAVE PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE SO CREAMY......THIS IS SUCH A FANTASIC RECIPE MY KIDS HAVE HAD IT EVERY HOLIDAY SINCE THEY WERE LITTLE.

I made this recipe about 4 times over the holidays (I always send fudge to relitives as a Christmas gift). I also took some to my work and my husband took some to his work. This is WONDERFUL FUDGE!!! Its not easy to get the ingredients all mixed fully, takes a lot of arm strength. I also found that waiting 30 seconds or so for the hot ingredients to cool a tiny bit after they had boiled made it better, the first time it seemed like the hot ingredients made the chocolate taste a little burned (I was the only one to notice, though, my husband said he couldn't tell). Overall GREAT recipe! I will be using this EVERY Christmas from now on!!
