How to make it

  • If you pick out a nice slice of ham you can get the meat department at your local store to grind it for you or you can use leftover ham
  • mix meats together
  • then mix in the crackers, milk, and the egg
  • mix well
  • shape into 2-3'' balls or smaller if using for a buffet
  • put them into a roasting pan or baking dish
  • combine the brown sugar, mustard, vinegar and water mix well
  • pour over ham balls
  • bake covered for 30 mins. at 350'
  • turn ball over making sure the sauce throughly coats the balls
  • bake another 30 mins covered. you may want to take the cover off the last 5-10 mins
  • remove to a serving dish and pour the sauce over top

    I made these for a pre-thanksgiving pot luck dinner over the weekend. I doubled the sauce and arranged the meatballs over cooked egg noodles. It was a bit hit with everyone. Thanks for a great recipe.
