Crockpot Polish Kraut And Apples Recipe

Crockpot Polish Kraut And Apples Recipe
Great Fall recipe from "Taste of Home." Use an apple slicer after peeling - couldn't be easier. i added 3/4 tsp. salt out of preference.

Believe it or not, I am making this right now in the crockpot. I use applesauce instead of the apples and juice, tho. I do make it with the apples when our tree is in season. And sometimes I add a little white wine - cup at most.
