Creamy Maple Spread Recipe
Spread on gingerbread, toast, waffles, hot bisuits, rolls, english muffins, bagels, pound cake, gingersnaps, muffins, sweet potatoes, squash, etc. Pure maple delish!

Ingredients
  • 1 8-ounce package cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 stick unsalted butter, room temperature
  • pinch salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • NOTE: may add toasted pecans

Directions
  1. Combine cheese, butter, salt and vanilla in mixer bowl
  2. Beat until smooth and fluffy
  3. While beating, slowly add maple syrup
  4. Beat until blended
  5. Cover and refrigerate
  6. Let stand at room temperature 20-30 minutes before serving

Oh this would be good on a toasted bagel! I have a spread like this without the butter. Thanks for another new recipe to try, Rosemary! This would be great rolled inside of a few crepes!
