For those who like the taste of O'Henry candy bars

Ingredients
  • 2/3 cup crisco oil
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup light or dark corn syrup
  • 3 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 cups oatmeal
  • Topping;
  • 1 cup chocolate chips, melted
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter

Directions
  1. Mix and press in a 9 x 13 inch pan all ingred. except chocolate chips & peanut butter
  2. Bake 12 min. at 375 F
  3. Cool.
  4. Prepare:
  5. Mix together the melted chocolate chips and peanut butter.
  6. Spread over baked layer.
  7. Cool.
  8. Cut into bars.
