Ingredients
  • 1 medium Chicken
  • 1/2 cup Curds
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic paste
  • 3/4 teaspoon Ginger paste
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 2 drops Red colouring
  • 1/2 kg Tomatoes
  • 3 tablespoons Tomato ketchup
  • 4 tablespoons Cashew nuts
  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar

Directions
  1. Wash and shred the chicken. Mix together the curds, garlic & ginger pastes, 1/2 tsp chilli powder and salt. Marinate the chicken pieces in this mixture for 4-5 hours.
  2. Pressure cook the chicken for about 5-8 minutes till tender. Blanch the tomatoes, blend and strain to make a puree.
  3. Melt a tbsp of butter in a pan, add the tomato puree, little salt, remaining chilli powder and sugar. Cook till the puree starts thickening then add 2 tbsps butter, chicken, tomato ketchup, food colouring and cashewnuts and cook further for 4-5 minutes.
  4. Serve hot with a dollop of butter and parathas.

This does sound really great, I just am wondering if you are talking about cheese curds when you talk about curds? or is it a type of vegetable?
