Apricot Fruit Wine

- 1 lb. dried apricots shopping list
- 4 Qts. warm water shopping list
- 1/2 yeast cake shopping list
- 6 1/2 cups sugar shopping list
- 2 1/2 cups brown sugar shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups raisins shopping list
- 2 lemons, thinly sliced shopping list
- 2 oranges , thinly sliced shopping list
- 1 Tbsp. ginger root , cut in pieces shopping list
How to make it
- Wash apricots thoroughly and then dry them.
- Place in large crock and pour on the warm water, reserving 1/2 cup of it in which to dissolve the yeast cake.
- Stir in the sugars , fruit , and ginger.
- Then add the dissolved yeast and mix well.
- Cover with top of crock or large board, or large plate with stone on top.
- Let stand for 30 days, stirring the mixture every other day.
- After 30 days, strain the mixture and bottle
