Ingredients
  • 1 can (16 ounces) chickpeas
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh garlic
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

Directions
  1. Drain can of chickpeas well. Toss drained beans, garlic, oil and seasonings
  2. together in bowl. Spread mixture onto large, shallow pan so that the
  3. garbanzos are in a single layer. Put into 400-degree oven for 20 to 30
  4. minutes, shaking occasionally. Remove from oven and let cool for a few
  5. minutes.These are best served warm.
  6. Note: Dried spices may be sprinkled on the garbanzos after roasting to vary
  7. flavor. Instead of using fresh garlic, you can sprinkle with garlic powder
  8. after removing from oven

Yum! I love roasted chick peas. We coat them with some nutritional yeast before roasting them - tasty!
