Ingredients

How to make it

  • Drain can of chickpeas well. Toss drained beans, garlic, oil and seasonings
  • together in bowl. Spread mixture onto large, shallow pan so that the
  • garbanzos are in a single layer. Put into 400-degree oven for 20 to 30
  • minutes, shaking occasionally. Remove from oven and let cool for a few
  • minutes. These are best served warm.
  • Note: Dried spices may be sprinkled on the garbanzos after roasting to vary
  • flavor. Instead of using fresh garlic, you can sprinkle with garlic powder
  • after removing from oven

Yum! I love roasted chick peas. We coat them with some nutritional yeast before roasting them - tasty!
