Roasted Chickpeas

- 1 can (16 ounces) chickpeas shopping list
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh garlic shopping list
- 2 tablespoons olive oil shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Drain can of chickpeas well. Toss drained beans, garlic, oil and seasonings
- together in bowl. Spread mixture onto large, shallow pan so that the
- garbanzos are in a single layer. Put into 400-degree oven for 20 to 30
- minutes, shaking occasionally. Remove from oven and let cool for a few
- minutes.These are best served warm.
- Note: Dried spices may be sprinkled on the garbanzos after roasting to vary
- flavor. Instead of using fresh garlic, you can sprinkle with garlic powder
- after removing from oven

Yum! I love roasted chick peas. We coat them with some nutritional yeast before roasting them - tasty!
