How to make it

  • Beat butter and sugar together until creamy. Beat in egg yolk and vanilla. Mixture will look curdled. Add raisins and walnuts. Crumble in pie crust mix, stirring until well distributed. Turn into greased 9 inch pie plate. Bake at 325 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until set. Garnish with whipped cream or cool whip.

    This sound terrific, Shirley! Anything with raisins and walnuts in it has to be good! I love that you don't have to make a pie crust too. I wish I had found this before I made raisin tarts the other day. Thank you for the recipe!
