- 1 cup low fat milk shopping list
- 1/2 cup low fat cottage cheese shopping list
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon ground mace shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper shopping list
- 4 ounces uncooked fettuccine noodles shopping list
- 4 ounces uncooked spinach fettuccine noodles shopping list
- 4 ounces deli-style ham, diagonally sliced shopping list
- 2 tablespoons freshly chopped chives shopping list
- 1 cup frozen peas, thawed and drained shopping list
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon paprika shopping list
How to make it
- Combine milk, cottage cheese, cornstarch, mace and black pepper in a blender.
- Process until smooth and set aside.
- Cook noodles according to package directions, omitting the salt.
- Drain and set aside.
- Spray a large non-stick skillet with nonstick cooking spray.
- Cook and stir ham and chives over medium heat until ham is lightly browned.
- Stir in milk mixture and peas.
- Cook until thickened.
- Combine noodles and milk mixture in a large bowl.
- Add parmesan cheese.
- Toss to coat evenly.
- Sprinkle with paprika and serve immediately.
