How to make it
- In a large, heavy pot, heat two tbsp of the butter or oil.

- Add the remaining butter or oil to the pot.
- When the rest of the oil has heated up, add the shrimp and Creole seasoning to the pot and cook for two minutes, stirring.
- Add the remaining ingredients to the pot, and lower to medium-low heat.
- The shrimp will gradually turn pink as they cook thoroughly.
- When all the shrimp are pink, turn the heat to low and allow to cook for another 5 minutes.
- Serve the shrimp, along with lots of the extra "juice", in big bowls with warm baguettes for sopping, a green salad with a light vinaigrette, and your favorite wine or iced tea.
- Be sure you have lots of napkins on hand, and maybe a few bibs, too!
