Ghoul-ade Halloween drink

I've made this for the past two Halloweens. Adults and kids both love it as it's like an ice cream soda... only weirder! It does turn black, but tastes really good with the ginger ale and the orange sherbet.
Ingredients
- 1 pkg. Kool-Aid grape unsweetened shopping list
- 1 pkg. Kool-Aid orange unsweetened shopping list
- 2 cup sugar shopping list
- 3 qt. water; cold shopping list
- 1 qt. ginger ale; chilled shopping list
How to make it
- Mix all together in punch bowl or large pitcher.
- NOTE: This will be black as midnight and frightfully delicious!
- Mel's version:
- Mix the Kool ade and sugar in a 2qt container and chill. When time to serve, pour half a glass of kool-ade, fill almost to top with ginger ale and float a big ball of orange sherbet in the glass.
