Ingredients

I cup of heavy whipping cream

1 1/4 cup whole milk

4-6 ounces of milk chocolate (use more if you like)

2 TB cocoa powder

4 TB whiskey or Irish whiskey

1 can of prepared whipped cream for the top

Optional addition:

1 tsp cinnamon OR 1 tsp. chili pepper (for a little kick!)

2 ouce of Peppermint Schnapps for a touch of mint

2 ounces of Butterscotch Schnapps or liqueur

Directions

Place the milk and chocolate in a saucepan.

Heat slowly over medium heat, stirring until the chocolate has melted.

Add the cocoa and stir well.

Bring all to a boil and remove from heat.

Stir in the cream and then the whiskey.

Pour into heat-proof glasses or mugs.

Serve with a topping of whipped cream.

If you add the cinnamon or chili pepper, do so when you add the milk chocolate.

Add any flavored schnapps or liqueurs with cream and whiskey.
