Very Easy Golden Apples Brown Sugar Butter Wrapped In Puff Pastry

- 6 golden delicious apples (small) shopping list
- 1/2 cup brown sugar + plus 6 tablespoons for later shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon shopping list
- 1/3 cup golden raisins (can use dark) shopping list
- 4 tablespoons butter, cut into six pieces shopping list
- 8 ounces puff pastry, rolled thin shopping list
- 1 egg beaten with 1 teaspoon of water for egg wash shopping list
- whipped cream, (may use heavy cream to drizzle) shopping list

How to make it
- Preheat oven 375 degrees
- Cover baking sheet with parchment paper
- Peel apples
- Core the apples, going almost to bottom, not all the way through
- In small bowl, combine 1/4 cup brown sugar, cinnamon, raisins
- Fill center of each apple with mixture
- Top each apple with butter
- Roll out puff pastry on lightly floured surface
- Cut into 6-inch squares, (large enough to enclose apple)
- Arrange apple in center of square
- Brush edges of pastry with water
- Fold pastry up around each apple, enclosing, sealing edge
- Pinch pastry together at very top, seal, leaving a bit sticking up
- Brush pastry with egg wash
- Arrange enclosed apples on cooking sheet
- Bake 40-45 minutes or until pastry is golden brown
- When serving, place baked apples in individaul bowl, placing each apple on a BED of whipped cream, sprinkle with more brown sugar
