How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
  • In an electric mixer, cream together the cream cheese, margarine and sugar until fluffy.
  • Beat in eggs one at a time.
  • Continue beating and add the flour one cup at a time.
  • Scrape down sides of the bowl to incorporate all of the flour.
  • Add both lemon and vanilla extracts.
  • Mix well.
  • Pour batter into a greased and floured 10 inch tube pan.
  • Bake at 300 degrees for 90 minutes
  • Check the cake with a toothpick or cake tester inserted into cake.... make sure it comes out clean then you know cake is done!
  • Let cake cool in pan for 10-15 minutes before removing.
  • Enjoy!
