How to make it

  • Coat four 6 oz ramekins with butter and dust with granulated sugar. Turn them over to remove excess sugar.
  • Whip the egg whites with a pinch of salt until soft peaks form.
  • In a larger bowl, mix the pastry cream and Grand Marnier together; slowly fold the egg whites into the pastry cream mixture.
  • Fill prepared ramekins and bake in oven at 500°F for 15-20 minutes.
  • Remove from oven, dust with icing sugar and serve immediately
