Phils Ricotta Cheese Pie Recipe

Ingredients

Makes 5 pies:

9 eggs

6 lbs. whole milk ricotta cheese

2½ cups sugar

3 tablespoons flour

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon orange juice

(Pre-made pie crusts)

Makes 3 pies (3-8” or 2-9”)

5 eggs

3 lbs. whole milk ricotta cheese

1¼ cup sugar

1½ tablespoon flour

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon orange juice

Directions

Beat eggs in bowl; add vanilla, lemon, orange juice. Add sugar. Add to ricotta, add flour and mix well. Pour into pie crusts

Bake at 325 for 1-1 ½ hours

This recipe really makes 4 full pies and 1 half pie, take some from the 4 pies to make a complete 5th.

Optional: you can add some chocolate chunks or chips to pie. I don't do this but I know some have.
