Chai Tea

- 1 Tbsp fennel or anise seed shopping list
- 6 green cardamom pods shopping list
- 12 cloves shopping list
- 1 cinnamon stick shopping list
- 1/4" ginger root, sliced thin shopping list
- 1/4 tsp black pepper corns shopping list
- 2 bay leaves shopping list
- 7 Cups water shopping list
- 2 Tbsp Darjeeling tea or 2 Tbs Rooibos for caffeine free version shopping list
- 6 Tbsp honey shopping list
- 1 Cup milk shopping list
How to make it
- Boil first 8 ingredients for 5 minutes.
- Add tea. Boil for 5 minutes, steep for 10. Strain.
- Add honey and bring to a boil until melted.
- Add milk, heat through and serve.

This was an awesome warm up this a.m. and I don't like milk. But I loved this. The bay was an unusual addition to me, but it adds a speical flavor. Thanks for the post.
