- Ingredients: shopping list
- 4 skinless boneless chicken breast halves shopping list
- 4 Tbsp butter shopping list
- ___ garlic shopping list
- 1/3 C finely chopped shallots shopping list
- 1/2 C dry white wine shopping list
- 3 Tbsp whole grain Dijon mustard shopping list
- 3/4 C whipping cream shopping list
- 2 ½ Tbsp chopped fresh tarragon or rosemary shopping list
- 2 Tbsp capers shopping list
- 1 Can artichoke hearts shopping list
How to make it
- Melt butter in heavy large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken breasts and sauté until cooked through, about 5 minutes per side
- Transfer chicken to platter. Tent with aluminum foil to keep warm
- Add shallots and garlic to same skillet and sauté 1 minute.
- Add white wine and mustard and bring to simmer.
- Add cream and 1 ½ Tbsp tarragon (or rosemary), artichokes and capers.
- Simmer until slightly thickened, stirring often, about 3 minutes.
- Return chicken and any accumulated juices to skillet.
- Simmer until chicken is heated through, about 1 minute.
- Transfer chicken and sauce to platter.
- Sprinkle with remaining 1 Tbsp tarragon or rosemary and serve.
