How to make it

  • Bring ingredients to hard boil.
  • Remove from heat. Let stand exactly 5 mins.
  • Stir in one bottle of certo. Mix well and pour into hot sterilized jars
  • (can be right from dishwasher, or ones that have been boiled in hot water.
  • These jars must be small canning jars.
  • Seal with ball jar lids and rings.
  • Turn them upsidedown to cool. Then turn upright.
  • Easily doubled.

    I cannot get Certo where I live! I want to use BALL Liquid Fruit Pectin - how much is in a "Bottle" of Certo? PLEASE HELP!

    I LOVE jalapeno jelly on a grilled cheese sandwich - I add some sliced apples with the cheese inside the bread...toast in pan and spread with the jalapeno jam - delicious! I will have to try my hand at making your jam and save myself the trip to the specialty store...thank you!
